Thank you for your donation! Please donate your unwanted hardbacks and paperbacks at the Circulation Desk Only. It is located in the lobby off the parking lot entrance. Donations are tax deductible and tax receipts will be provided.

Book donations are essential for FOSL to support the Smyrna Public Library. Donated books meeting a specific need will be added to the library's collection.

Remaining books are sold in our bookstore, at one of our book sales or online - whichever option will raise the most money. Last year we raised thousands of dollars from the sale of donated used books.

Magazines
Audio Books
Movie DVDs
Music CDs
Puzzles

We Do Not Accept:
VCR Movies
Items with Mildew or Mold

The night drop off boxes are for library books only.

As hard as we try, not every donated book put on sale will be sold. After many months of selling attempts, unsold books are sent to Better World Books and we are paid once they process the donation bin.

Please DO NOT donate your books intended for the library in this bin. We cannot get them out once they are deposited, cannot sell them and the full value of your gift will never be realized.
